The Herrity Report 12/16/16

HR BANNER

Northern Virginia is currently preparing for our first potential wintery weather this weekend. VDOT crews took advantage of conditions Wednesday and Thursday to treat roads with anti-icing materials in northern Virginia, in anticipation of low temperatures through the rest of week and the potential for wintry precipitation over the weekend.

This is a quick reminder to fill up on gas, charge your cell phones and other electronic devices, and check on elderly neighbors during any winter storm we might experience over the next couple months. Also, here are some important links and phone numbers to keep printed in a safe location in case you need to access this list during a storm. You may keep up to date on emergency alerts at Fairfax County's emergency blog: www.fairfaxcountyemergency.wordpress.com
