Village News 3/16/17

Dear Village Neighbors / Friends,

Not much to report this week. I am glad we finally got some freezing temperatures to help hold down the bug populations this spring, summer and fall. Thanks to the youngsters and even the not-so youngsters for digging out after the last snow, especially Abdullah Hagi who shoveled my sidewalks and driveway.

Village Dates to Remember – If you are wondering when the community yard sale will be or even what calendar day Father’s Day will fall on this year – open your community directory. Directory Kirby Myers included what we consider important dates in the directory. We do have a change to the Community Clean up that was pushed back to 24 June. Not the best date, but still free to members of our civic association.

Note – I know there are other RE Agents living in the village and we’ll gladly include your narrative style ads as well. We also ran out of responding village businesses to feature though we know there are many more. It doesn’t cost anything and should be beneficial not only to you, but also the rest of the village to know that we have a resident CPA, computer guru, potter, RE Agent, Contractor and Music Teacher – just to name a few.

Please make sure the sidewalks in front of your home are clear to allow for mail delivery and to keep our children safe as they trudge off to and from school. Stay warm; drive safely and stay safe.
