Village News, 7/6/17

Dear Village Neighbors / Friends,

Suzanne and I returned from visiting our daughter at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. In my opinion, the academy is one of the best kept secrets, especially for girls who comprise about 38% of the Class of 2021. I am certain that boys and their parents will say the same about the academy education and experience. If your child is interested, I can provide him or her with Cadet 2/C Katrina Cooley’s email address.

Website Update – ( has a new feature on the right side of the home page called “Event Photos”. Check it out and you’ll see that we could use your pictures of village events. Bob Havey has put a lot of work into our website that has and will help you sell or rent your home as well as helping others determine that this is the right place to buy or rent and raise their children. Rather than wait until you want to sell; why not help now in making the site better with pictures and your ideas?
