Happy 2019 Village Neighbor / Friend,

Since yesterday was our daughter’s last day with us, I spent it with her instead of putting the enews out on schedule. It’s always too soon for our college kids to leave and return to their studies. Hope they all travel safely and continue to make their parents proud. This will be Katrina’s last semester at the USCGA before being commissioned to serve our country. Seems like just yesterday when she was born. Good life; isn’t it!

Thanks to Those Who Volunteered – to deliver the 2019 Community Directory door to door later this month; that is if Printing Ideas gets them ready. We had a good outpouring of support for our community this last week. I’ll keep you informed about when the directories will be ready for delivery. I will bundle them for delivery to your home or you may opt to pick them up from my 8131 Edmonton Court home.

Dump Run? Sue Borschel (Elkton Drive) asks if aanyone will be going to the dump in next few weeks and willing to take her broken 40 lbs mini fridge? It’s too large to fit in the trash toter. You can reach Sue at 703/459-4399 or sjborschel@gmail.com.

Happy Birthdays – USAF Lieutenant Colonel Glenn Cooley. I remind you that when we have joyous family news (birthdays, graduations, promotions, engagements, weddings, awards, etc) from just one other village family, I will not post about mine.

Just for Fun “Worldly Travels - I’ve been to a lot of places, but never been in Cahoots. Apparently you can’t go along, you have to be in Cahoots with someone. I’ve also never been in Cognito. I hear nobody recognizes you there. I have however, been in Sane. They don’t have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips.

Stay dry and warm; hope you enjoy a very Happy 2019!

John Cooley
